All throughout the Bible God shares His expectations of His followers, and one of those clearly stated is to "...make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you..." At Western Avenue, we feel that serving as part of the body is a natural, expected part of the following Jesus. There are a number of ways to serve here - whether it is greeting people as they enter for worship, teaching a class, singing in the choir, serving a meal, or a helping with a host of other opportunities - and each person is uniquely gifted, so we encourage you to meet with one of our pastors to help find the right fit for service.
