The foundation upon our church is the Lord Jesus Christ. We come to Jesus by faith, not works. This act of God's grace is sometimes called being "born again" or "getting saved." It is through this new birth that Jesus Christ's righteousness is credited to us, restoring us to God and giving us the ability once again to enjoy Him and make His name great forever.

All our sermons and classes are taught from the Bible, God’s infallible and inerrant word. We believe the Bible provides ultimate authority and shows us how to live life, one verse at a time. The majority of our sermons are verse by verse through a book of the Bible. 

You were not meant to walk the Christian life alone. We are a family of believers joined together in fellowship and discipleship as we learn and grow together. We celebrate together during life’s happy moments and support one another through difficult times.

At Western Avenue, it is our privilege to walk alongside you as you raise your children from infants to young adulthood. Our staff works together to provide practical resources for each stage of the journey.

We are a missions-minded church with a variety of opportunities to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the Gospel locally and around the world. Whether you are able to travel internationally or drive across town, there is a place for you to serve.
