Homosexuality is the issue today that challenges what the Bible tells us is right and wrong. Because of this, it challenges the Gospel itself. We have the opportunity to speak wisely to our friends and family who disagree with what the Bible says. However, they often make arguments that can be difficult to answer, and when we try to answer them, they refuse to acknowledge what the Bible says is true. In this class, we present a biblical understanding of why people refuse to believe the Bible and teach how to think through the many arguments people might make in order to justify the sin of homosexuality. Teaching this class: Andrew Payne is a graduate of Southern Evangelical Seminary and teaches ethics at Mitchell Community college. Van Dempsey is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and teaches Religion at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Jim Pemberton is currently a student at Reformed Baptist Seminary.
