Christian Ethics for Everyday Life

Room 154
Teachers: Andy Lackey & Ellen Fox

The Bible is all we need in order to know how to live the Christian life. However, the Bible does not explicitly cover every situation we will face in our lives. How then is the Bible sufficient for all the ethical dilemmas we face? That is where Christian ethics comes in.  In this class we will examine how the Christian is to respond to an array of everyday ethical issues, from abortion to “designer babies” to same-sex marriage to workplace ethics to divorce/remarriage.  These and other issues will be examined in light of what Scripture says in order that the Christian will be better equipped to respond when faced with questions of ethics and morality.
