Caroling Postponed

With the threat of ice still on the roadways and driveways and walkways, we have decided to postpone our church caroling and fellowship to Wednesday December 19th. This will give the snow and ice time to melt and clear away before we send people out to sing Christmas Carols. We hope this will allow those planning to join us for caroling to still join us. Also, we hope this will give opportunity to those who were not able to join this Wednesday a new opportunity to join in the fun.

THE CHURCH CAROLING NIGHT will be: Wednesday December 19 at 6:00pm. Upon your return to church from caroling there will be cookies and hot chocolate and fellowship. Last year we were able to visit around forty homes. That was a great time and a true blessing to many we were able to get out and see. Thank you for that. This year we have many more homes we would like to visit. To do this, we need your help.

Here are ways you can serve on Wednesday December 19th:

1.Drive a group of carolers – do you have a vehicle large enough for your family that could hold a few extra people? We would love for you to come. We will send a few vehicles to the homes. We would love to know you are coming, and how many can you haul?

2.Lead a group of carolers – It is always nice to have a strong voice to help get people started singing, if you can do this let us know.

3.Join a group of carolers – we need groups of voices to sing loud and spread Christmas cheer. You aren’t trying out for the Voice, you are just singing some beloved carols in the homes of some of our beloved members who aren’t able to join us on Sundays as regularly as they would like. Let us know if you can make it.

Those are the easy ways you can serve during our night of caroling. It is always a fun time together singing and visiting. You will love it and those you meet will love and appreciate it too.
