Sunday School
We offer several classes for women on Sunday mornings. These classes are divided by age and you are invited to join the one most comfortable to you. Please pick up a Sunday Connection brochure to find the class you want.

Women's Special Events Ministry
We offer various special events throughout the year to enrich the lives of WABC women & the community through Christ-centered activities. In the past this has included the annual "Festival of Tables" in the fall, a community-wide Health Fair, Spiritual Gifts Workshop, HeartCall Training,  Women of Faith & Beth Moore Conferences, the annual “Garden Tea” in May and compiling a church cookbook.

Women’s Missionary Union
WMU was established to aid churches in mission work and discover the joy of missions. WMU includes: Women on Mission for ladies 18 & up;  Girls in Action (GA’s) for girls ages 6-12; and  Mission Friends for young girls ages 2-5.  The purpose and principals for meeting are to pray for and give to missions while learning and doing missions. Several groups of women meet monthly in each other's homes in missions groups. Call the church office to get a schedule.

MOPS - Moms of Preschoolers
MOPS exists to provides mothers of preschoolers with time out of the house so they can interact with other mothers and so their children can enjoy time playing with their friends.

If you are ready for a personal, one-on-one encounter with the Living God, then Precept Upon Precept studies are for you! Students complete weekly workbook assignments and attend weekly discussion classes on either Monday evenings at 7:00  or Wednesday mornings at 9:00.

WABC Prayer Chain
The WABC Prayer Chain was started in 1990 so that members of the church family would have access to a group of intercessors that would pray for their needs or the needs of family & friends. The WABC Prayer Chain Members have agreed to pray when needs are passed on to them by telephone.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Franklin Grahams’ Samaritan’s Purse, sends a message of hope to children around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes & Gospel literature. WABC members participate annually in the OCC workdays in Charlotte, NC.

Relay for Life
Relay for Life is a community based event designed to celebrate survivorship & raise funds for the American Cancer Society. On the day of the event, teams of people gather at Statesville High School & take turns walking, jogging or running laps. Each team is asked to keep at least one representative on the track at all times. So, call your friends & family, lace up your shoes & get ready for the annual Relay for Life held every May.

Bereavement Ministry
When we experience a death in our WABC family, this ministry provides a meal the day of the funeral for the family. There are five groups who help to bring food to the church for one to three families each year. Several lay ministers also serve the food that day & operate the kitchen to provide a warm atmosphere for the grieving family.

Baptist Center Food Pantry
WABC assists in donating staples & nonperishable food items to the South Yadkin Baptist Association. There is a box located outside the church office to place your items in. You may call the SYBA to find out what their specific need is this month at 704-873-4372.
