Sunday, November 13
"The Insanity of God"
WABC will show The Insanity of God on Sunday, November 13, at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The movie portrays the true story of Nik and Ruth Ripken. While serving among the persecuted church and witnessing the death of their son, they ask, “IS JESUS WORTH IT?” Join the Ripkens as they tell the story of being taught by believers in persecution how to follow Jesus, how to love Jesus, and how to walk with Him day by day even when it doesn't make sense. Please feel free to bring guests. There is no charge and popcorn and drinks will be provided.
Note for Parents - While THE INSANITY OF GOD has a strong Christian worldview, discretion is advised due to graphic descriptions of abuses committed against Christians and images of the poor conditions millions of people endure. There are also references to drugs and bloody conflict. Some scenes may frighten younger children. For more information, contact Andy Lackey at firstname.lastname@example.org or 704-872-4139.
Childcare - Childcare will be provided for five years and younger, by reservation only. Contact Carrie Allen (email@example.com) no later than Wednesday, November 9. No reservations taken after November 9.
