The Amazing Race
The most EPIC of events is returning to WABC - the Amazing Race! This all-day adventure will be like nothing we've done before (not even like last year)! Similar to the TV show, minus the airplanes, with slightly larger teams, this day of awesomeness is not to be missed.
Sign-Up no later than Wednesday, August 3
WABC will host 1Day, a state-wide event produced by the NC Baptist Convention, on Saturday, August 20.
The day will be filled with trainng sessions for Sunday School, children's and youth ministry, worship, men's and women's ministry, senior adults, evangelism, special needs ministry, family ministry, deacon ministry, and much much more. The WABC choir will lead all attendees in worship in the first session and then all will go to the seminars of their choice.
We will need many volunteers to help with parking, greeting, food service (catered by Chick-fil-A), and more.
If you volunteer in any way, you can attend the conference for free.
As a member of WABC, non-volunteers may attend for $10 each.
Please contat the church office (704-872-4139) if you would like to attend or volunteer.
To learn more about 1Day and see all the seminars that are available, go to http://www.ncbaptist.org/ and click on EVENTS and then EVANGELISM.
To reserve a room for a WABC ministry related event, you'll need to fill out this form and email or fax it (704.838.1974) to our office.
We are more than happy to help you set up a non-ministry related event. Please contact us and we'll help you get everything lined up.
